Responsible for the design and engineering of scalable multi-axis robotic liquid handling systems, fluidic workstation, hand-held liquid medication dispenser, positive / negative displacement syringe pumps and automated microplate cell washers. Several projects required predictive engineering and biotechnology R&D to satisfy the design requirements for specific medical life science diagnostic applications. Design validation and verification with full documentation of each was required of all projects.Project Manager for several in-vitro diagnostic instruments involving fluid dynamics and motion control applications. Utilizing DFM / DFMA, transitioned class II medical devices over short development cycles which required device approval, and consulted on two CLA® and OPTIGEN® IgE Assay multiple allergen screening products for Hitachi Chemical Diagnostics.

Principal Engineer in mechatronics, efficient product design and consulting mechanical engineering for designs including film production, agricultural, computer and automotive. Three products required USPTO research, writing and submissions for Utility and Provisional patents. Worked with a variety of molding process including rotational, injection and carbon fiber. This position is ongoing.

Mechanical Engineer in development of sensor-fused weapons, electro-mechanical interfaces and numerous DoD test fixtures for temp, humidity, shock & vibration. Most projects required FEA analysis and comprehensive verification and validation. Worked closely with vendors to obtain subcomponent UL certifications, and achieved federal NACLC classified security clearance for multiple major armament projects.
