I am the founder of an annual adult league hockey tournament; Hockey Beats Down Cancer, that raises funds for the OhioHealth Cancer Fund here in Central Ohio. I liaise with the OhioHealth Cancer Fund, OhioHealth Chiller and other business partners locally and out of state preparing for the tournament, I am responsible for getting sponsorship partners, setting up the event at the local recreational ice rink, working with the local ice rink to make sure that we have referees and scorekeepers. To date we have raised about 100 thousand dollars for local cancer organizations.
