My position is to oversee all mechanical areas of the club facility including, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment to keep the club functioning at top efficiency. Select, train and supervise engineering staff. I also work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Director of Operations and Department Managers to oversee all renovation, expansion, special projects and regular upkeep in various areas.

My responsibilities are to manage all aspects of maintenance staff on a daily basis. I direct coordinatesand perform routine, preventive and emergency interior / exterior maintenance and repairs to obtainoptimum efficiency and economy of hotel operations, which includes all staff, accounting/budgeting,asset protection, inventory control. I am also overseeing a complete FF@E renovation and reflagging from a Holiday Inn to a Crown Plaza Hotel .

My primary duty's were at both hotels during the transition period was to ensure the smooth daily operation and guest appeal of the hotels by maintaining and overseeing of the preventive maintenance of all building mechanical systems, PM programs, kitchen equipment conversion and life safety systems. I also acted as a liaison throughout all CAPEX projects and conversion projects for both property's leadership team and owners and representatives.

I was Responsible for the daily operations of the engineering and construction of a 550 unit condominium complex which consist of four (4) 18-story buildings 18 townhouses and a 85 dock marina. I was also part of a team that overseen an annual operating budget of approximately $6 million dollar departmental budget . I also managed a team of 16 maintenance personal which specialize in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC trades.This position required that the DOE be a very hands on contributor to the success of the company goals and core values.

I assisted the Corporate Director of Engineering to ensure all Widewaters managed hotels within the US and Canada were in compliance with corporate programs and franchise programs by conducting property visits, audit maintenance departments,QA inspections, I also developed plans for improvements which included developing CAPEX plan for each property; I also acted as a liaison throughout all CAPEX projects for property leadership and owners and representatives.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

I directed all hotel maintenance operations and Landscaping for 25 historic mid size hotels including 32 pools,My responsibility included overseeing a staff of 18 and all in house hotel renovations, I also ensured that all projects were completed on time and within budget,which included all monthly guest room PM on which I developed a Make Ready Team (MRT)to completed all PMs including public areas and meeting room space.I also managed all residential special projects as needed I was also responsible for Life Safety for all Hotels and residential properties.This position required that the CE be very hands on .

My responsibility at this hotel was to over see a 170 room soft good renovation

Recommends the department's budget and capital expenditures and manages expenses within approved budget constraints.
