Born with a passion to fly, I've lived across Northern Australia for most of my life chasing the dream. At 20 I began flying and my adventures took me across Far North Queensland and over to the Northern Territory. Working in bars and as a baggage handler I slowly funded my hour building flights around the country, taking family and friends along for the ride. Finishing up my Commercial License in Alice Springs, I was lucky enough to attain my first job with Chartair. Fostered in a friendly and professional environment, I quickly learnt that discipline is the most important attribute of a safe and efficient pilot. I completed my Instrument Rating with the company and walked away with a wealth of knowledge from my experienced colleagues. I flew Barons, Caravans and Cessna 210s throughout Central Australia and loved every minute of the challenging, rewarding and very scenic lifestyle. Working for Qantaslink as a captain on Dash 8 Q300/200 aircraft took me throughout regional New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. I worked in management support and ground instructing new pilots and cabin crew.Now with Virgin Australia I am flying across Australia and to some of it's neighboring countries on the Boeing 737 NG and Max.
