After having taught for 19 years at the University of Texas at Arlington , I accepted a position as associate professor and associate director of the international and global studies program at the University of Arkansas. I will continue to serve as editor of the Yearbook of Transnational History, which is published with Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, and as editor of the book series in Intercultural Transfer Studies, which is published with Anthem Press. I have published widely in the field of transnational history, intercultural transfer studies, and philanthropic studies. My work was published in various European countries including Germany, Great Britain, and Switzerland as well as in the United States and Canada. My research has been supported by funding provided by private foundations in the U.S., Canada, Germany, and Italy as well as by state agencies such as the National Endowment for the Humanities.
