Hello, my name is Thomas Stevens. I am a lover of teaching and learning who for 3 years worked in the mathematics education industry. I worked with a wide range of different tools, technologies, and people, and during my time working in education, I realized how poorly created and designed a lot of the software used in education really was. So I took it upon myself to learn JavaScript so that I could write code to develop websites and applications that would be beneficial to the learning environment, instead of detrimental. Once the pandemic hit, the education industry was turned on its head by the online learning environment, so I leaned into my math/computer science skillset. I leaned into freelancing and working with various wonderful clients and fellow software developers to create applications, websites, and software.
