I have held steady employment with the same painting company for the last 6 years. In fact, besides the painting business that I started in 2021, this has been the only job that I've had. Over the last six years, I have progressed from being a gopher, to an apprentice, to a sub-contractor, and finally to a sole proprietor . In the half decade that I’ve been painting, I have developed and enriched all of the technical skills that are required to start and finish a job, as well as skills pertaining to customer service and marketing to expand contacts.
