In my current role, I develop and implement strategic project objectives and provide daily operational oversight and governance for the implementation of ongoing IT initiatives in collaboration with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. I am responsible for providing dedicated leadership and mentoring for a team of 8 IT professionals including Technology Specialists and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure consistency and productivity across the team while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Some of my main contributions include the following: • Tracked and analyzed technology and business performance across a suite of key metrics to facilitate the medium and long-term strategic planning process in conjunction with the Senior Executive Team.• Led a variety of hands-on technology projects including the migration to MS Office 365 cloud-based solution from the legacy Exchange server and the implementation of Microsoft SCCM server to streamline application deployment, PC imaging, and antivirus. Deployed Group Policies to enforce security policies and settings.• Formulated comprehensive budgets and forecasts for the deployment of new technology systems within the company to improve performance and drive significant efficiency gains. • Continually monitor technological advancements in the industry to make recommendations on relevant software and hardware updates and their expected impact on business performance.• Fostered strong working relationships and strategic alliances with key vendors across hardware, software, and telecommunications providers to drive cost rationalization projects and improve overall profitability. • Delivered in-depth training and development initiatives for team members to ensure that each individual is equipped with the requisite industry knowledge and technical skill set to achieve organization objectives.
