Indianapolis, Indiana Area

I worked as a design engineering intern underneath the Juno Lighting group (a division of Acuity Brands). In this role, I had the opportunity to work with experienced new product engineers while I updated an existing product line from it's majority ProE/Creo files to Solidworks files. I updated CAD part files, CAD drawings, drawing PDFs, and created a full assembly to display all available options. All these files had to go through a review process before they were released in Windchill (the PLM software for Acuity Brands). At the same time, I used Oracle to release Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to inform the associated Buyer/Planners of the change. I had a great experience and grew as a young aspiring engineer from this opportunity.

Cleveland/Akron, Ohio Area

Worked in an outdoor setting. Optimized grass cutting schedule for the business. Outside of grass cutting, preformed physical labor including jobs like mulching, weeding plants and display beds, breaking down wood railroad ties, and watering plants. Managed customer service and plant sales when necessary. (Side Note: Did not work during the summer of 2017 because I had torn my Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in May of that year and had to rehab the injury over the summer.)
