Provide guidance, both domestically and internationally, to managers, operations staff, customers, and exporters on US export trade compliance matters, as well as advising on US regulatory questions and issues. I also stay current with changes to the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), monitor for future changes, and apply regulatory knowledge to US export operations.Assist with various EEI and AES issues, such as mode of transportation, port of export, and fatal errors. I answer questions concerning export licenses and permits (i.e., ITAR, BIS, DEA, NRC), as well as providing support in resolving problems concerning them. I also monitor for trends to advise staff and managers so corrective actions can be taken.Apply regulatory knowledge to our operating system CargoWise 1 (CW1) and monitor it to ensure compliance with US export regulations. Test any applicable system updates, troubleshoot system errors with IT and WiseTech Global (WTG), and submit requests for custom system updates to increase efficiency, reduce penalty risk, and reduce long-term operational costs.Monitor denied party screening (DPS) and serve as an escalation point to review and clear or escalate as necessary.Run scheduled and requested ACE reports as needed and build custom reports upon request.Respond to inquiries from the US Census Department, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Export Enforcement (OEE), and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).Create, modify, and update SOPs, processes, and training for US export operations and the US trade compliance department.
