Since starting out as a professional musician, I have had 11 years experience as a violinist and a teacher. I have played for many orchestra's and ensembles and built up an extensive knowledge of orchestral and string ensemble repertoire, as well as having a wide ranging solo set. In my teaching career I have had many successful pupils in violin examinations and music festivals, as well as having pupils in the best orchestra's the county has to offer. I have also had orchestral tutoring and conducting experience and have worked as a classroom music teacher.My ultimate goal is to get into a professional orchestra, wherever in the world I have to go to fulfil that ambition. Other ambitions are to get more regular string quartet gigs and generally play more chamber music. I also wish to start doing some solo gigs, maybe make some recordings. As far as my teaching goes, I would like to build on my private teaching practice and maybe get some more work in schools. I also hope to do some composing and arranging, as well as build on my tutoring and conducting.
