I am currently a medical student completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Griffith University. Hailing from the Gold Coast, it has been my goal to provide improved welfare in my community. Within the next 6 years, I hope to see myself as an active practising dentist. Throughout my high school and university education, I have focused on my development of interpersonal and relational skills to grow into a versatile and confident dentist and understanding person all round. A number of noteworthy skills I've developed include:- Academic Achievements: My dedication and hard work has earnt me a plethora of academic awards, I am the recipient of Overall Academic Excellence for 2021, General Mathematics Academic Excellence Award 2021, 5 Diligence awards across English, Science and History, 4 Merit Certificates. These achievements demonstrate my active critical thinking skills and problem-solving strategies.- Leadership Qualities: I was an active patrol leader for my local Scout group for 3 years as well as a senior worker and trainer at McDonald's.-Bilingual: I am a speaker of Japanese having completed it over 7 years of high school which enables me to actively communicate with a wide range of patients and assist me in breaking through language barriers to provide an adequate duty of care.
