hello my name's Thomas, I started as a maintenance engineer in the royal navy in 2011, where I rose through the ranks for four years, during this time I was in charge of training new apprentices and maintaining HMS illustrious from a mechanical engineers perspective working on everything from sewage treatment and water hygiene to gas turbines and diesel engines. after I had served I moved to a small bespoke engineering company where I worked for a year and a half maintaining mechanical production machinery such as Samsung cnc and milling machines to 500 ton presses and braiding machines. I left beldam crossley to gain more experience in a more fast paces and more involved engineering roll where I got to work with centrefuges, balistic separators and granulators maintaining and constantly learning about safety on the job due to the potential danger in a recycling industry. I am currently working for Wincanton a contract company under kraft heinz also known as heinz 57 the most prestigious food production company in the UK where I maintain the chameleon line a fully automated production line.
