As an I&C Engineering Technical Specialist for Dominion Energy at Millstone power station I work with a vast array of equipment related to safety and control systems for power generation for the New England area.As a former Nuclear Test Electrical Engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat, I perform on the job oversight and direct personnel on the initial inspection and acceptance testing on electrical and electronic equipment related to reactor plant operations and safety. I have over 3 years of experience in this role.I also have 2 years of previous experience as a STO Test Technician at General Dynamics, where I performed initial certification on a wide range of electrical equipment, such as turbines, diesel generators, electric plant control systems, switchboards, and breakers. I generated reports on issues found during inspections and developed solutions to resolve them. I used electrical diagrams and schematics to perform testing and troubleshooting on complex electronic systems. Before joining General Dynamics, I served as an Electronic Technician Nuclear (Submarine Specialist) in the United States Navy for 6 years, where I gained valuable skills and knowledge in the defense industry.
