Perform on the job oversight and direct personal on the initial inspection and acceptance testing on electrical and electronic equipment directly related reactor plant operations and safety. This equipment includes various pumps, pressure transducers, LVDT detectors, Resistance Temperature Detectors, Control Panels, interface panels, valve position indicators, and electronic controllers. In addition to this perform verifications and updates to procedures on a periodic basis to verify that it is up to date with reference material and any issues are denoted in the procedures for future work. While perform the initial acceptance testing if any issues occur generate incident report related to the issue at hand and interact with at least five other groups to perform repairs on equipment as needed.

Perform initial certification on electrical equipment related to a large variety of equipment to include, Turbines, Diesel Generator, Electrical Control Panels, Motors and Controllers, Electronic Conversion Equipment, Electric Plant Distribution Plant, Electric Plant Control Systems, Switchboards, Breakers and many other pieces of electrical equipment related to Submarine operations. In addition to this generate reports related to issues found during inspections and developing perspective course of actions related to the problems found. Along with this performed testing on the same equipment using in depth test procedures which required prior planning and deliberate execution. Used Electrical diagrams and schematics to develop isolation boundaries on equipment to perform equipment repairs and to assess an area for any safety concerns and determine ways to solve the safety issues. Finally used multiple data bases to look up electrical schematics, diagrams, wiring tables, vendor drawings, technical manuals, test procedures and many others all on different databases with various forms of operation.
