Hi, my name is Thomas.Graduate of Mohawk College with an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting. (June 2022)Currently residing in Burlington, while trying to break into the accounting world to help gather experience and work towards my CPA license.While at Mohawk I had the pleasure of doing a co-op for 4 months with Hagar Liao CPA Professional Corporation. While there I gained experience with software such as QuickBooks, where I did bookkeeping and payroll. I also helped to prepare personal tax returns for clients using TurboTax which was an introduction to that software for me. I also helped a client with over a year's worth of GST/HST that they could get a rebate on.In the near future, I hope to one day work as a staff accountant for an entertainment company and work with a diverse team that helps push each other.In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and going to sporting events.Some of the strengths I have gained through my schooling, and work experience are strong software knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and TurboTax. I am constantly improving my problem-solving and collaboration abilities while possessing strong analytical and financial skills.
