A Registered Architect with over 38 years experience, I have lead projects primarily consisting of residential, educational and not-for profit organizations with budgets ranging from $50,000 up to $20 million. I typically work with a project team that includes owners and other talented design architects, consulting engineers, designers, and architects of record. I firmly believe architecture and design is a team effort. I relocated to Tokyo Japan in 2019 to accompany my wife who accepted a business transfer, and continue to work as design consultant on a variety of smaller free lance projects while pursuing other design interests including furniture design and photography. I am proficient in hand drawing, and digital software including Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Enscape, Twinmotion, and others including modeling for energy & lighting. Autodesk Revit has been my primary means of producing work from schematic design through construction documents since 2003. I have legacy LEEP AP registration, and maintain an Illinois Registered Architect license, NCARB, and AIA Japan memberships.
