Established the first community based multidisciplinary follow-up oriented diabetes program in Canada - and honoured by the Canadian Diabetes Association with the annual Banting Prize in 1986. Currently work with one other physician and six certified diabetes educators in a long-term program for the most up-to-date patient oriented optimal management of diabetes care.To promote best diabetes care, also provide educational events (small group discussion, lectures, etc.) to other professionals within and outside of my working territory.
