Anasoc G-2 Mentor
CurrentEmployed as a Senior Military Intelligence Mentor/Trainer for Engility and MPRI at Camp Morehead in Afghanistan. Major responsibilities include the mentoring and training of the ANASOC Brigade G2 Staff, and then when it became a Division, the ANASOC Division G-2 Staff of the ANASOC Division Special Forces and Commandos. Provided intelligence expertise and guidance in analysis, intelligence tasks, research, and intelligence processes for the ANASOC Division G2. Mentored processes such as the intelligence cycle, Request for Information (RFI’s), Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), and mentored and assisted in the development of COIN centric Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) and Intelligence Preparation of the Environment (IPOE) products developed by the ANASOC Division G-2 Staff. These products were also briefed to the ANASOC Division G-3 for possible future missions. In addition, assisted with development of intelligence training classes, seminars, and other tasks as necessary. Provided guidance, mentoring and training in planning, IPB, analysis, collection management, counter-intelligence, physical security, and operational tasks, and with the development of information and communication flow up and down the chain – down to the two ANASOC Brigades, and up to the MoD GS G2 level, and continually stressed the importance of relationships and information sharing out to other agencies (NDS, GFC, MoI, and even to ANA Corps and ANASOC Battalions), which assisted in product development, intelligence gathering, and assisted with their RFI development and requesting.
