Employed as a Senior Military Intelligence Mentor/Trainer for Engility and MPRI at Camp Morehead in Afghanistan. Major responsibilities include the mentoring and training of the ANASOC Brigade G2 Staff, and then when it became a Division, the ANASOC Division G-2 Staff of the ANASOC Division Special Forces and Commandos. Provided intelligence expertise and guidance in analysis, intelligence tasks, research, and intelligence processes for the ANASOC Division G2. Mentored processes such as the intelligence cycle, Request for Information (RFI’s), Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), and mentored and assisted in the development of COIN centric Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) and Intelligence Preparation of the Environment (IPOE) products developed by the ANASOC Division G-2 Staff. These products were also briefed to the ANASOC Division G-3 for possible future missions. In addition, assisted with development of intelligence training classes, seminars, and other tasks as necessary. Provided guidance, mentoring and training in planning, IPB, analysis, collection management, counter-intelligence, physical security, and operational tasks, and with the development of information and communication flow up and down the chain – down to the two ANASOC Brigades, and up to the MoD GS G2 level, and continually stressed the importance of relationships and information sharing out to other agencies (NDS, GFC, MoI, and even to ANA Corps and ANASOC Battalions), which assisted in product development, intelligence gathering, and assisted with their RFI development and requesting.

Employed as a Military Intelligence Mentor for New Century in Kabul, Afghanistan. Major responsibilities include the mentoring of four sections comprising the Analysis and Production (A&P) section for the Afghanistan National Army (ANA) G-2 Department at the Ministry of Defense (MoD) level. Assisted in the development and training of the Current Intelligence Section, the Order of Battle Section, Open Source Section, and the Estimates Section, all within the Ministry of Defense (MOD). Provided intelligence expertise and guidance in analysis, intelligence tasks, and research for over 50 ANA officers within the A&P department. Provided intelligence training classes, seminars, and assisted in the weekly briefings provided by the sections. Provided additional seminars on proper briefing techniques, information sharing, intelligence reporting, IPB, IPOE, and other training pieces to assist in the officer development. Assisted in monthly briefing seminars provided by the Current Intelligence section officers to the Kabul Counter Insurgency (COIN) Academy. Delivered proper administration reports such as a daily activity report and weekly report, and others as needed. Also worked as in Intelligence Trainer for the Intelligence Training Center; assisting with various intelligence courses such as the Basic and Advance Intelligence Courses, and the AR-8200 Scanner Course – and developed numerous practical exercises, command post exercises, and curriculum development.
