I am available for oil and gas exploration and mineral sands exploration. I finished working on a mineral sands exploration program for a client in the US in 2018. I completed a month-long mineral sands drilling program for another mining client in SE Georgia in 2017. I completed a review of a S Louisiana Salt Dome aquisition for a client. I utilize Kingdom, Petra, and Petrel to map along with ArcGIS.

I was the Geoscientist for the Bay Marchand Field, the largest field on the shelf in the Gulf of Mexico, Reserves Group. Mapping with Petrel. I attended a Petrel course in Geophysics.

Houston, Texas Area

I worked the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin utilizing IHS Kingdom and Geographix software. We drilled conventional and ultra short radius multi-lateral wells in the Ordovician Ellenburger and shallower section. We could go from vertical to horizontal in less than 50'MD. The team, Geophysicist, Petrophysicist, and Geologist(me), generated 3 prospects, two of which have been drilled and were successful. The first one had multiple offset development wells drilled. The third prospect has yet to be drilled.

Houston, Texas Area

I mapped three core fields on the GoM shelf utilizing Petra software for well data and Kingdom3DPak software for 3D seismic data.

Stony Creek, Va

I worked at a mineral sands mine that extracted minerals (ilmenite, zircon, staurolite, and monazite) from recent aged sands. I laid out drilling programs, supervised drilling and logged data, prepared results for integration into ore maps, generated ore maps, completed daily/as needed ore grade control and reconciled monthly production versus the geologic model. New Orleans, La

I was responsible for the Development of 7 fields in the Gulf of Mexico, reviewing Farmouts, and Exploration of open leases along trend with my assigned fields. I could order and load 3D data, interpret 3D, production, and well data over a weekend. In addition to my field exploitation, quick reviews of leases and farmout assessments were my specialties. Sucessfully farmed out and drilled a deep wildcat.

I provided geological and geophysical mapping for several shallow water state fields near the Mississippi Delta WD 52/53/54/56. My fields were devastated by Hurricane Katrina, so the small company had to cut back on expenses. A really good group of folks. I mapped utilizing IHS KIngom and PSDM and angle stacks.

I was an exploitation geologist responsible for exploring for drilling, workover, and sidetrack opportunities for company properties. Also evaluated farm-in prospects, lease sale prospects, and prepared/presented farmout deals. Completed field studies utilizing geologic and gephysical (3D/well logs) data including PSTM and angle stacks. A very talented group of co-workers and a fun place to work. The company sold the offshore properties to Newfield and let everyone go.

New Orleans, La

- Maxed out ST 63/86 facility at 50MMCFD and increased caprock production by 500BOD through plugbacks, acid jobs, and workovers. This required detailed well by well potential evaluation with the Engineers.

I was an adjunct geology instructor at Murray State. I was the instructor of record for Crystallography and Optical Mineralogy, Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology, Structural Geology and a two-week summer field trip. It was the most enjoyable and lowest paying job in my career!

I was a production geologist/geophysicist responsible for supporting workovers, plugbacks, sidetracks, and new wells. I provided both geologic and seismic mapping of Chevron fields and offset blocks. I had one year of geophysical cross training. I provided wellsite supervision of open hole geophysical logging.

I was an exploration geologist working lease sales in the western GoM. I also spent one year on a rotation assignment in the Beaufort Sea on the Aurora Well just offshore ANWR. It was a great company. We were sold to Chevron in 1989.
