I provide air operations subject matter expertise for the Joint Staff sponsored Coalition Capability Demonstration and Assessment series, commonly known as 'Bold Quest'. I function as part of a small team in a time-compressed environment that supports the annual Bold Quest life cycle to include: - Large Force exercise/demonstration planning that validates all requirements for both US Service and coalition nation participants - Conduct initial and detailed planning to develops Concepts of Operations, Operations Plans, and Operations Orders for exercise/demonstration execution - Configures Exercise Control facilities to ensure synchronization of air operations in all phases of exercise/demonstration - Directs all exercise/demonstrations Air Control activities - Provide after-action exercise/demonstration reviews - Support exercise/demonstration analysis (e.g., validates findings, documents integration and interoperability issues) - Contribute to after action report writing efforts - Interface with senior Government agencies, technical and administrative personnel, as well as other contractor/subcontractor personnel to ensure full exercise/demonstration successBold Quest is a collaborative joint and multinational enterprise in which Nations, Services and Programs (N/S/P) pool their resources in a recurring cycle of capability development, demonstrations and analysis. The Bold Quest Demonstration has grown from a US services (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and National Guard) and four nations in 2003 to now include the U.S. Services, the U.S. Special Operations Command, NATO Headquarters and 19 Partner Nations. Participants’ overarching aim is to improve interoperability and information sharing across a range of coalition and warfighting capabilities.

Expeditionary Warfare Training Group - Atlantic

Single source of oversight for training throughout the Department of the Defense on amphibious aviation command and control coordination. Not only responsible for instruction, but also sought out by name from executive leadership to ensure complete implementation of both strategic and operational guidance in subject area.• Conducted final deployment certifications for 4 Amphibious Ready Groups while providing mentorship and assessment of Naval Command and Control of Air Operations (NC2AO) and Tactical Air Control Centers (TACC).• Increased Amphibious Air Operations Coordination (AAOC) course training opportunities by over 60% through aggressive implementation of mobile training teams. • Ensures both east and west coast amphibious commands receive standardized training in Amphibious Air Command and Control by leading the stand up of an AAOC resident course at EWTGPAC. • Ensures all training programs are in full compliance with new higher headquarter requirements• Selected as mentor for NC2AO and TACC mission areas during EXERCISE BOLD ALLIGATOR 16, the largest series of Amphibious Operations Exercises on the East Coast.

Carrier Strike Group Four

Responsible to United States Navy executive leadership for operational mentorship and assessment of complex multi-organizational management challenges. Assertive leadership and technical expertise in organizational effectiveness, ensured the highest qualification standards were met in time critical environments.• Conducted Naval Command and Control of Air Operations (NC2AO) final certification of 7 Carrier Strike Group/Amphibious Ready Group Composite Training Exercises (COMPTUEX) . • Upgraded in billet code to fill N35 position by Command Leadership immediately upon arrival as a result of personal expertise and capabilities in NC2AO and TACC mission areas.• Participated in EXERCISE BOLD ALLIGATOR 13 and 14 as one of the lead aviation naval planners and as lead mentor/assessor in NC2AO and TACC mission areas during execution.

Tactical Air Control Squadron Twenty One

Answerable for all operations of an organization consisting of 115 personnel and yearly budgets and equipment worth well over 2 million dollars. Expertly directed firm during all planning and execution of complex evolutions involving multiple higher order institutions, resulting in unprecedented “best of” evaluations from appropriate authorities.• My amphibious and expeditionary air operations expertise proved essential in the successful revision of the Tactical Air Control Squadron’s Navy Mission Essential Task List (NMETL), Positional Qualification Standards (PQS) and air control doctrine. Expertly directed squadron during 3 separate detachment deployment certifications, resulting in full operational certification of deploying units.• Recognized by Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group TWO during EXERCISE BOLD ALLIGATOR 12 while serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on airspace coordination. Authored detailed airspace control Special Instructions (SPINS) and established critical lines of communication with higher, adjacent and subordinate commands. Served as the operations officer of the force Tactical Air Control Center with oversight of 3 tactical air control centers contributing directly to the safe and effective execution of over 500 live air sorties. • Meritoriously recognized during OPERATION ODYSSEY DAWN while serving as the Tactical Air Control Squadron Detachment Operations and Training Officer. Directly responsible for the successful planning of the Expeditionary Strike Group’s Classification, Identification and Engagement Area (CIEA) and Battle Management Command and Control Procedures. Successfully directed three watch teams through a myriad of dynamic mission sets never before employed within the Tactical Air Control Squadron community. Hand selected to lead the Tactical Air Control Center on the first night of operations, paving the way for the strike group’s successful execution of over 1200 sorties

Commander, Strike Fighter Wing Us Atlantic

My superb professional and managerial expertise resulted in the flawless execution of type wing operations, to include 18 separate strike fighter squadrons. I assumed the responsibilities of the Operations Officer (a billet very senior to my position) during the unplanned medical leave of Wing Operations Officer.

Combined Air And Space Operations Center

• Meritoriously recognized by the Commander, US Air Forces Central/Combined Forces Air Component Commander (AFCENT/CFACC) for expert handling of over 800 close air support missions. • Drove the average time of fighter response to Troops in Contact situations to less than 10 minutes, directly contributing to saving coalition lives during 197 kinetic events. • Flawlessly integrated coalition aircraft during surge operations to support ground commander’s 4,730 Joint Tactical Air Requests (JTARs), resulting in a 66 percent decrease in violence in Iraq from 2007 to 2008.• Produced over 180 flawless joint Air Tasking Order (ATO) execution reports used by senior leadership to make key decisions in Operational Level of War air operations.

Commander, Carrier Air Wing Five

• Responsible for daily production of airplans for seven squadrons and two detachments during 18 months of forward deployed operations resulting in successful execution of 19,000 embarked sorties and 37,500 hours of operational flying• Utilizing knowledge of strike fighter tactics and carrier air wing employment, provided pivotal insight in planning and development of exercise scenarios of 10 major joint and combined events to include 2 VALIANT SHIELDS, at the time the largest exercise in Pacific Fleet. Consolidated air planning of 3 Carrier Strike Groups into cohesive Battle Force. • Subject Matter Expert on Air Wing Training and Readiness (T&R) and Air Wing Strike Warfare Commander Watch Team (PAPA). Single point of contact to Commander, Naval Air Forces (CNAF) for T&R reporting requirements of 6 different aircraft types. Managed PAPA watch teams for all air wing underway periods.
