• Perform field operation and maintenance of Filtration, Softening, De-Oxygenation, Reverse Osmosis, UV, Electro-Deionization, Demineralization and other customized water purification equipment and applications.• Consult with customer management and technical counterparts to include: communications with FSR’s, field managers, environmental health and safety, sales, engineering, logistics, outside contractors and plant operations regarding equipment and operations.• Perform water analysis and collect samples for preparation, labeling and shipment to designated laboratories.• Perform daily testing to include: NTU, Hardness, Chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, Na, Conductivity and Silica.• Monitor equipment performance and operation. Conduct preventative maintenance and calibrate equipment per established processes.• Interpret, transfer and upload data to Microsoft spreadsheets, trending graphs and common libraries.• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports and safety audits.• Write work procedures and schedules for job safety analysis, maintenance and repair.• Maintain inventory of parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.• Ensure compliance of volume and quality per contact specifications.• Work with PLC controls.• Read and understand Process Flow Diagram and Piping and Instrumentation Drawing.• Participate in on-site project management to include: troubleshooting, Clean in Place, PVC repair, valve change outs, backwashing, air scrubbing, sluicing, chemical drum/tote change outs, filter bag and cartridge filter replacements, RO membrane replacements and basic electrical troubleshooting.• Utilize proper procedures and equipment when handling chemicals such as: HCI, NaOH, H2SO4, N2H4, AI2 (SO4) 3, and O3.
