It was a good 2+ years, but I accepted a new position where I could learn and grow.

In charge of deploying computers for a multiple campus move. Setup and installed desktops, laptops, and tablet PCs in a mixed environment. Setup WiFi connections and network connections where needed. Researched problems with new equipment. Performed printer configuration for multiple styles of printers.

Computer SanitationResponsible for DOD wipe, coordination of machine de-installs, documenting return of leased equipment for data analytics, and arranging shipment of computers for return. Replaced and repaired damaged machines prior to shipment.Deployment specialistDeployed thousands of Dell laptop and tablet PCs to various offices and configuring encryption services with VPN remote access. Securely copied and verified file transfers from previous desktops and laptops to the new machines, verifying data integrity. Removed old PC hardware and prepared it for return to Dell Leasing. Maintained extensive documentation of the process, custody of machines and all data. Instructed users on the basics of the new machines and highlighted the new features that were available for use.

Care, maintenance and installation of computers. Installation of PBX based phone systems. Installation and maintenance of network switches, hubs, and other equipment. Use of diagnostic software and hardware. MS Active Directory, and Exchange server administration.

Setup, managed and maintained 11,000 web hosting accounts. Provided technical support to end users, and managed an outsourced night-time technical support team of four. Administrated accounts on Red hat Linux servers with Apache webserver. Supported and administrated 2 webmail services (Sendmail and SMTP) hosted on the same servers.
