Hello, my name is Thomas. I am an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Psychology, with the eventual goal of obtaining a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. To me, education is not only an opportunity to better myself but also to serve others. I am passionate about the mental health of today's youth and strive to one day become a child and family psychologist so I can personally make an impact in this field and in the lives of others. Additionally, I seek to be a force of change in the field of psychology, dedicated to breaking down stigmas surrounding mental health. Beyond my drive to become a part of the field of psychology, I am passionate about the advancement of minority voices in mental health research, application, and administration.

  • Supervised twenty children, ages five to fourteen, and ensured they adhered to camp safety regulations.• Accommodated the needs of nine neurodivergent, differently-abled, and ASD campers through independent research, assessment of camper communication, refining personal communication, redesigning numerous camp activities, and informing fellow councilors and camp administration of findings and progress. • Clearly and effectively communicated camp policies and events to campers and parents to ensure customer conflicts were satisfactorily resolved.
