.Typically, the role of business development manager translates to something like “get more customers.” Not for me.I view my role and responsibility as introducing new customers to the many benefits of The Davey Tree Expert Company. My job is to understand their commercial landscape concerns, identify opportunities to match our services with their needs, and to make sure they remain happy and satisfied with the service we deliver.As a result of our servicing not selling our customers, we’re adding to our employee base, expanded operations and office space, and acquired new equipment to meet these growing needs.As Business Development Manager in the Greater Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky territory, I am responsible for:• Developing and enhancing customer relationships • Expanding markets and territories• Providing CRM coaching to branch staff to better serve our customers
