About Thomas Behan

I started working in construction in 2000. After serving my apprenticeship as a Carpenter I spent some time in Canada working with a modular homes company before returning to ireland in 2006. I worked mostly in residential construction until 2011 when I moved to London. There I worked in high end domestic refurbishment before moving to commercial second fixing carpentry. Returning home after two years I spent some time doing property maintenance for a Dublin based company. In 2014 I established Behan Building Services. I aim to provide a professional, competent and friendly service to all my customers.

    Started with Horohoe as a carpenter doing a retro fit on a large house on Bishop's Avenue, East Finchley. Having worked here foe a few months I moved to the Tate museum in central London. Here I worked on my own replacing the timbers on a dome shaped roof. This was both a very challenging and enjoyable experience. From here moved to a property in Edgerton terrace in Knightsbridge. On this job I was the carpentry overseer for the project which included adding a mansard roof to the existing structure. In April of 2013 handed in my notice and moved company.
