Directly responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of all electrical systems for three newspaper printing presses in the facility (on-call 24 hrs/day, 365 days/year). Responsible for the operation of a wide variety of equipment and systems, including AC and DC press control systems, computer systems, water and ink control systems, paper roll splicing machinery, plateroom equipment, high voltage switchgear and power distribution systems. Responsible for maintaining engineering drawings and documentation for all press equipment.Successfully completed many electrical engineering projects, including the engineering and installation of a complete single-width printing press, a complex double-width press addition (two towers), a complete spraybar system, two separate DC drives upgrade projects, a custom PLC control system, a new web break detection system and more.

As Executive Director of the Hoosier Outdoor Writers, I am the sole staff member and administrator for Indiana's professional outdoor communicators group. We have nearly 200 individual, corporate and tourism members. Primary responsibilities include oversight of operations, event planning, budgeting, financial reporting, publications editing, membership development and documentation.

I am a freelance outdoor writer, photographer and editor. I specialize in fishing, especially Great Lakes salmon and trout fishing. I also specialize in trapping and am very interested in nature photography. I am available for writing or photography assignments.
