Working together with R&D and marketing divisions, analyze strategic opportunities against business plan objectives to maximize safety and minimize risk.Specific to hydroelectric, performed as single point of contact, technical interface and presenter for all hydro turbine and generator business including rehabilitation, new equipment and spare parts sales. Complete site visits, bid walks, and trade show/conferences for the purpose of establishing local relationships with end users, developers and engineering firms. Hydro products include turbine (Francis, Kaplan, Pelton, Bulb) & generator, inlet valve (spherical and butterfly), control system, digital governor, Adjustable (Variable) Speed and Conventional Pumped Storage systems. Promote corporate hydraulic laboratory for model runner testing, CFD analysis, FEM and performance upgrade studies. Analyze market opportunities and available technologies for hydrokinetic, ocean, wave, tidal, current, thermal energy conversion and osmotic power.
