Joining the Polo Resort & Country Club in Saint-Tropez at the start of the season, I had the opportunity to lead and revitalize a team in what had been a challenging environment. Through active listening and empathetic management, I successfully rebuilt team bonds, fostering a trust-filled and enjoyable work atmosphere crucial for delivering high-quality service during the peak tourist season.Under my leadership, we initiated and partially completed several ambitious projects aimed at enhancing the club’s facilities and services:- Developed a children’s playground, enriching the family experience.- Launched a 445 kWc photovoltaic project to significantly reduce operational energy costs.- Established a modern boutique with office space on the upper floor to enhance customer reception and service.- Upgraded the stables with significant improvements for horse welfare, including individual watering systems and external openings.- Started the construction of an exclusive owners' lounge and two additional padel courts, increasing the club’s value and appeal.These initiatives helped position the club as a premier destination in the region. Despite challenges in communication with the property owner, which limited the full completion of projects, this experience strengthened my strategic leadership and crisis management skills, preparing me for future challenges in the hospitality industry and beyond.
