• Head of HR department for a government contractor with services in 20+ states and a precision machining division that has more than tripled during my tenure.• Lead a team of multiple HR employees that support all 400+ employees across the nation. • Develop, review, and support the writing of new hire requisitions and job descriptions and post them into the ATS formerly using Taleo.• Coordinate new hire onboarding including writing offer letters, completing pre-employment screening candidates for risk in hiring, coordinating drug screening, and completing adverse action requirements if candidates are deemed too high of a risk to hire. • Provide, support, and assist in activities related to policies, discipline, terminations and other HR practices and resolve employee relations issues through a defensible approach. • Provide data, support and counsel to company leadership and organizational departments related to recruitment, selection, orientation, promotions, organizational design, employee development, benefits, performance management, HRIS/administrative functions, employee relations, employee morale, safety, payroll, communication, satisfaction, and retention/turnover. • Knowledgeable of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Program (OFCCP), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Short and Long Term Disability (STD/LTD), workers compensation, legal compliance, 1099 contracting, reductions in force, and timekeeping. • Development of company policies and programs, including compensation and benefits, salary review, workforce planning and organizational change. • Serve as lead or team member on company committees including 401K Plan Signatory overseeing a plan with funds exceeding $19M, Insider Threat Analysis, United Way, continuity plan development and responses.

Part time employment in support a realtor as a Personal Secretary and to update her website/data management systems. Most of the daily tasking was real estate data entry and filing. Occasionally developed brochures/flyers, delivered and picked up for sale signs, run open houses, and host clients until realtor arrival.

Part time employment with duties based on categorizing, sorting, and filing 10 boxes of unsorted paperwork. implemented a new filing system to implement organization.

Primary duties included filing and data entry. Scanned paper files into a database for long term record keeping. Occasionally delivered and received documents around town to the appropriate 401k contractors.
