-Working as a member of management to introduce, improve and grow the systems in place as well as promote their use by staff.-Move, wherever possible, services and infrastructure to the Cloud and to managed services.-Work closely with 3rd party providers to move infrastructure from in house systems to well-managed, safe and reliable online services. -Develop relationships with suppliers to provide unified printing, phone systems, networking and internet.-Provide services to around 12 remote locations around Essex and unify these services allowing users to move between them with minimal effort.-Assist the Database administrator with the managing of our current CRM system as well as move services to our future CRM Salesforce. -Work with all staff to keep the organization compliant with legislation and data protection. -Perform due diligence on applications and suppliers before using new services. -Researching and recommending new solutions and services. -Project managing large changes such as office moves and migrations.-Developing a Mobile Device management strategy as well as a Bring your own device policy. -Developing policies, procedures and guidelines for staff around the use of IT.-Performing risk management and developing a Business Continuity plan.

-Working as the main point of contact for all IT support issues at the Inn for around 120 staff members. -Providing phone, E-mail and face to face support to all of the staff at the Inn.-Managing and maintaining a varied network including Citrix, VMWare, Exchange, SANsymphony and Windows Server much more.-Managing and maintaining Backup systems, file systems-Improving the network to meet the demands of the staff, this included researching and implementing new technologies.-Keeping the network secure, using a verity of firewalls, secure systems and anti-virus. -Managing the websites and intranets.-Undertaking all other IT support duties as needed.

-Working as a key member of a busy award winning service desk.-Providing support for over 250 companies from all areas of the business world including financial institutions and charities.-Supporting VIP users and demanding organizations. -Working on high priority/Domain wide issues. -Managing monitoring systems.-Taking a proactive approach to support with regular updates/monitoring backups.-Meeting strict SLA targets.-Being the backup specialist on the Service desk.

-Providing desktop support for basic issues-Performing device wipes and restores-Setting up desks and offices -Providing application and hardware support.
