What should you expect from this 19-year-old finance major?DevotionDeterminationEncouragementMy mission is to provide unwavering financial advisory services to all individuals and companies big and small so that they can reach their financial goals. The world of finance excites me, interests me, and fuels my passions and ambitions, from investments in personal finance to financial management in businesses. I was born in Belville, North Carolina where I spent 17 years building my brand before attending UNC Charlotte to study finance. Growing up I was involved with many extracurriculars including sports such as varsity cross country and baseball, Boy Scout where I earned my Eagle Scout, church and youth groups, National Honor Society, and many more. I learned skills along the way while managing my hectic schedule such as time management, communication, leadership, and organization.On top of being a full-time college student, Army ROTC 4-year scholarship cadet, and club baseball member, I hold employment as a resident advisor on the UNC Charlotte campus managing 42 freshman students with their academic and personal needs. During situations involving residents like noise complaints, room lock-outs, safety violations, etc., I am the primary point of contact to resolve the situation. Simultaneously, I have the honor of mentoring these young students and guiding them toward success in their academic and life endeavors through advice, recommendations, encouragement, and role modeling.Most of my development and personality can be credited to sports encouraging my competitiveness and a thirst for excellence. Sports have taught me to be a team player when joining any organization, for personal excellence is irrelevant unless all members are excelling. Doing so takes my most developed trait: servant leadership. I believe great leadership comes from serving every member's needs until they are independently capable of succeeding and excelling.
