Responsible for the financial and accounting operations (AR, AP, FA, Inventory, Accruals and Open Commits) of the company in order to meet the timely, accurate and useful reporting of financial results to management and select external users. Create ad-hoc reports from accounting and production data as needed. Managed the Purchasing effort for the chemical and semiconductor product lines. Manage the preparation, scheduling, and day-to-day communications of the interim and year-end audit, including completion of all audit schedules and auditor requests. Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of process improvements and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Establish and coordinate the month end and year end close schedule to insure timely financial results are provided to management. Research technical accounting issues for compliance and propose recommendations. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Partner with the manufacturing staff to audit, improve and maintain tight inventory controls. Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors and senior management. Significant Accomplishments: • Implemented ERP Fixed Asset module. >350 assets, totaling more than $25.8 million dollars.• Implemented monthly account reconciliations process. >120 accounts.• Implemented T&E reimbursement tool.
