I was made full time Humanities teacher at Ecclesfield in 2013 and have since been responsible for teaching students in years 7-11 in History, Geography and RE. I have also taken a number of tutor groups through from year 7 -11 and I am now responsible for a vertical mentor group. One of my duties during my time at Ecclesfield was to take around 50 Year 9 students on a 3 day trip to the battlefields in Belgium and France.

During this period I successfully completed my induction year. In my position as a Senior Information Researcher I researched and wrote-up information on UK and European Union funding for the companies database which was sold to a variety of clients ranging from local authorities to housing associations and the police. My main duties included researching and obtaining grant information by contacting sponsors and using the internet as a research tool, manning a client helpdesk and training clients.

I worked as a Sales/Warehouse assistant at nights, weekends and during holidays. Responsibilities included advising/serving customers, using cash registers and organising displays. This was part-time employment as I was at college and university during this period.
