March 1985 - October 1996 Cinran Plastics Inc., London, Ontario, a rapidly expanding custom extruder, printer, and converter of polyethylene film for the packaging industry. Employing 100 people with annual sales of 12 million. ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬March 1994 – October 1996 Quality Assurance Manager and ISO 9002 Implementation Coordinator - reporting to president - given the mandate to implement an ISO Quality Assurance program throughout the entire company. Accomplishments:- achieved ISO 9002 registration after an extensive 2 day audit by QMI that found no major non-conformances.- developed a Quality Control Program that tracked all non-conformances, prioritized them for corrective action and than generated and tracked the Closed Loop Corrective Action Reports. - installation and set-up of maintenance management program. - Developed manufacturing information system using customized programs on a Novell network. - sourced and supervised the upgrading of three extruders, improving quality as well as increasing output by 25%.
