I was born in December 1995 in the North West of England, attending Abraham Guest Academy (now Dean Trust), St John Rigby Sixth Form College and graduated in 2022 from Edge Hill University as a 'Master of Computing with Honors' in Business Information Systems. While I had a standard upbringing, I would describe myself as anything but standard. I have a tendency of placing myself outside of my comfort zone in unfamiliar situations, positions and environments as a means to test and improve myself. Examples include:- Volunteered myself to a 'Team Leader' position within a group in the 'Graduate Enterprise' module and a group during the 'Barclays Tech Challenge' in 2nd year at Edge Hill University. - Spend time studying at the University of Salerno in Salerno, Italy in the ERASMUS+ Programme from September 2019 to February 2020; adapting and learning the Italian language and culture while studying modules such as Human Computer Interaction, IT Banking and Encryption. - Participated in a two-week Data Science placement at the Wroclaw University of Business and Economics, Poland.Outside of my academic environment, I have spent over 7+ years in the hospitality sector; working with management and colleagues and refining my customer service skills to deliver a great and memorable experience to all customers. My previous position was as a Mixologist at Revolution Bars Group PLC enforcing a level of producing quality produce and customer service. This attention to quality has led to positive comments and employee reviews from management in addition to being awarded the 'Employee of the Period' in March 2022.In my personal environment, I am an avid reader, ranging from philosophy, fiction. history, business and self development and improvement. I am also a language enthusiast with taking a great interest in learning Japanese in my free time and a keen enthusiast into boxing where I have participated in Ultra White Collar Boxing charity events in 2018, 2021 and 2022 raising money for Cancer Research UK where we raised a total over £15,000 for our 2022 event alone.
