is a solicitor, admitted to both the German and Czech bar, of the international firm of accountants and lawyers, Rödl & Partner. Following his studies at the United World College of the Atlantic, Wales, the University of Passau, Germany, and Charles University in Prague (all of these studies on scholarships), he joined Rödl & Partner in 1999. He works with Rödl & Partner at their Prague branch as a senior consultant.Mostly, Mr Britz advises businesses in the areas of labour law and corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, winding-up businesses, H&R restructuring processes, industrial relations, managerial contracts and trans-border secondment and employment.Transactions recently managed by Mr Britz include the following:• Privatisation of a service centre of a public service provider in a major city in CEE• Acquisition of a manufacturer of special containers for NATO member states• Equity Investment of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in a rolling-stock manufacturer in CEEMr Britz has published books and articles on Czech Labour Law and is a speaker at conferences on international Labour and Social Security Law.
