This Committee is responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct by Buckinghamshire Council, town and parish councillors in the Council area. It also monitors and reviews the Council’s Constitution, to ensure that it assists in the delivery of efficient, transparent and accountable decision making. The Committee also deals with electoral arrangements.

Managing a team of almost 100 staff and volunteers internationally was something I had not expected to be doing so early. It was here that I first took up a principle communications role for an organisation. In my time at School Aid I managed to double the organisations output in three years and triple it in five. We developed an extensive network of donors and corporate partners, including high net worth individuals as well as institutional partners such as the Security Service. Working at School Aid was challenging, exciting and a brilliant place to learn invaluable skills early in my career. In 2018 we received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award given to voluntary organisations across the UK, equivalent to an MBE. Show less
