24 years old, born in Leeds and just recently moved back after spending 5 years working and studying in Newcastle! I first moved to Newcastle in 2019 at the age of 19 after taking a year to decide what I wanted from myself and my studies, and after careful thought, my mind was set. I headed to Newcastle to obtain a university degree and experience the student life! Shortly after moving I quickly found my feet, and started making connections and friends to people I met through the part time job as an events promoter. I met people of all demographics and backgrounds and it allowed me to network in a way I previously hadn’t been able to.Whilst studying I was continuously working on my career as an events promoter, making my way through the ranks, before I knew it, 3 years had passed and I had been made Senior Events Manager, thrilled with my new role I graduated from Northumbria University and remained in Newcastle in the same job, making it a full time role. After another year of hard work within Loosedays it came round to Freshers of 2023 and I was promoted to City Manager, with this role it required me moving back to Leeds to manage and run the city’s operations. I was thrilled with this role and thrived in it, working around the clock to ensure I was the best I could possibly be. This role taught me a lot about the industry and what it takes to be a leader. Just recently after 5 years with Loosedays I have decided that it’s time for a change and a new challenge. I decided that with the experience and knowledge I have gained I can finally pursue my dream to find a job within the Business sector.
