LSRP, Senior Project Manager:Supports the Environmental Division through the management and oversight of Site Investigation, Remedial Investigation and Remedial Action projects. Primary responsibilities include project management and oversight of all aspects of Site Investigation, Remedial Investigation and Remedial Action projects. Provides LSRP services and oversight on all phases of investigative and remedial services, including post-remediation requirements. Other activities included reporting, budgeting, client management, communication with regulatory agencies, as well as the development of proposals and contract amendments.Laboratory Technical Director/Quality Assurance Officer:Responsible for maintaining state laboratory certification for inorganic and analyze immediate and continuous monitoring parameters utilized in monitoring and collection of low-flow groundwater samples. Responsible for the training and refresher training of environmental staff and technicians in the calibration and collection of analyze immediately and continuous monitoring parameters

Experience in the removal and remediation of Underground Storage Tanks (UST) with real experience in over 125 UST removals and remediation actions, including both regulated and non-regulated USTs. Experience in all phases of site investigations, including Phase I and Phase II, Site Assessments, Remedial Investigations, Remedial Actions, and Biological Ecological Evaluations. Experience with managing large scale multi-disciplinary/multi-phase projects, including preparation and maintenance of budgets ranging from $40,000 to $1.0 million. Successfully secured several No Further Action determinations from the NJDEPCoordinated field services including securing subcontractors, scheduling of field staff, and providing both on-site and off-site project management to provide contracted services to clients.Responsible for the development of proposals and contract amendments for assigned ongoing and new projects. Provided technical assistance to clients during demolition, pre-construction and construction meetings for sites currently undergoing remediation or those projects where redevelopment of the site is part of the remediation (i.e., deed notices and classification exemption areas (CEAs)).

Maintained all Field Scientist II responsibilities, managed day-to-day activities related to assigned projects, including proposals, budgets, field activities, invoices and client relations. Responsible for completing all reporting requirements as it pertains to the NJDEP Technical Requirements for Site Remediation, including; Phase I Site Assessment, Health and Safety Plans, Site Investigations, Public Notification, Remedial Investigations and Remedial Actions. Designed and implemented general and site specific scopes of work for site and remedial investigations and remedial actions. Developed site specific Remedial Investigation and Remedial Action Work Plans. Coordinated field services including securing subcontractors, scheduling of field staff to provide contracted services to clients.

Provided communication pathway between field technicians, project scientist/engineers and client to maintain project schedules and deadlines to provide a seamless transition between phases. Provided draft reports to Staff Scientists and Project Managers for review, completion and final submittal. Recorded field data and soil boring logs during subsurface evaluations, complete interpretation of analytical data and report findings to project scientist/engineer and/or project manager. Conducted field sampling of soil, surface water and groundwater for laboratory analysis. Completed all field work, including site reconnaissance surveys, geophysical surveys, soil and groundwater sampling activities, tank investigations, and remedial actions. Conducted historic & database research, including review of aerial photographs, fire insurance maps, chain of title, topographic maps, lien searches, database review, etc. Completed file reviews at various levels, including municipal, county, state and federal files, as well as client-supplied information.

Evaluated and reported risks for various areas of concern; including air and ground water dispersion. Scheduled waste disposal between transporters and treatment facilities following remedial actions. Secured state and local air discharge permits for soil treatment systems used during remedial actions as well as permitting sources utilized by a major U.S. company, and oversaw the installation of permitted monitoring wells; including development and sampling.

Conducted site walks to identify possible areas of concern including the completion of site drawings and subsurface scanning for buried utilities and subsurface anomalies. Collected soil and groundwater samples using direct push Geoprobe ® soil sampling units. Completed the design, installation and permitting of soil vapor extraction systems for the treatment of chlorinated solvents plume. Performed surface water quality testing including: stream/river flow rate, dissolved oxygen, pH, phosphate, nitrogen, turbidity and benthic macro-invertebrate collection for water quality and stream health determination. Performed scheduled visible emission evaluations on permitted air discharge systems. Performed limited maintenance of soil boring units, bobcats and excavators, and was responsible for maintaining the performance of daily-use equipment such as: water meters, PIDS, purge pumps, and soil sampling tools.
