Manage the relationship between large Integrated Health Networks/Group Purchasing Organizations and Covidien Respiratory and Monitoring Solutions.

As a Regional Sales Manager I am responsible for managing the performance of The Capital/Carolina's Region. My responsibilities include developing the tactical action plan for exceeding the FY budget, then managing the execution of that plan. I am responsible for the management of 7 Account Managers and 1 Clinical Specialist. I also manage the relationship with several large IDN's within the region.Early in my career with Nellcor/Puritan Bennett I had the opportunity to work abroad with the Puritan Bennett group teaching ventilation courses at Leeds University and Oxford University. I have excelled in leadership roles throughout my career with Nellcor serving as a mentor/trainer for the HCC group, Field Sales Trainer, Sales Leadership Council member as a CCAM and RSM, and Level III CCAM prior to being promoted to RSM.

I managed a department of 40 respiratory therapists in various hospital settings. Developed and administered training material for new nurses entering the critical care setting. In partnership with nursing I provided training lectures for new nurses in the neonatal and pediatric units and implemented a competency based training program for respiratory therapists and nurses for high frequency ventilation techniques. I Lectured for Pediatric Advanced Life Support classes throughout the state of Maryland for EMT's, nurses, and physicians and I have been a Regional trainer for the American Academy of Pediatrics for six years, organizing and conducting multiple Neonatal Resuscitation Programs. I worked closely with the Clinical Coordinator for a local college to develop a clinical site for respiratory therapy students. Additional educational development included assisting with the creation of the educational material for children at the American Lung Association's Camp Super kids and working with local county health officials to help bring the American Lung Association's Open Airways program into the schools.
