I am a second-year Ecology and Conservation Biology student (MbiolSci) at the University of Sheffield. My degree serves as a robust foundation, aligning seamlessly with my passion for the protection of nature. I am eager to contribute to the mission of preserving the environment and its diverse organisms, especially as the urgency of addressing climate change continues to grow.During my academic journey, I had the privilege of participating in the Biological Field Skills module, where I conducted research at the Abisko scientific research station in Sweden. As part of a collaborative team, we delved into the intricate relationship between Epirrita autumnata outbreaks and the growth of Empetrum nigrum. Beyond academia, I actively contribute to the Alfred Denny Museum, where I collaborate with fellow students to identify and organize specimens, create displays, and prioritize important specimens through strategic design and organization. As the lead Husbandry Co-Ordinator for the restarted University Entomology Club, I oversee care for insects, drive membership, and manage communication systems, enhancing my organizational and management skills. I am eager for the opportunity to contribute my skills in pursuit of shared global sustainability goals.
