Upon Argo’s incorporation as ReWalk Robotics in the US, became a full-time employee supporting various clinical and research studies involving the ReWalk throughout the US. Once commercialization was complete, served as Field Service Manager and eventually the Worldwide Service Manager. Traveled extensively providing hands-on FSE training in support of various ReWalk distributors. Provided technical support at conferences, trade shows, conventions, marketing and other demonstrations including the US FDA, VA, and Congressional meetings.

Working as an independent contractor, provided US engineering support during Argo Medical’s initial foray into developing the Argo ReWalk for clinical commercial use in the US, involving many aspects including design, function, programming, marketing, and sales.

Gait & Motion Analysis Lab at MossRehab Program manager for the Argo ReWalkTM exoskeletal device clinical Safety and Efficacy study supporting the initial FDA approval for clinical use in the US. Evaluated and selected 12 subjects for participation in the 8 week study; maintained systems, collected and evaluated study data, and contributed to the final published results. Lead Research Engineer in developing, testing and utilizing a computer simulation to model a non-linear neuromuscular skeletal dynamic system. Provided technical support for a computer based clinical data acquisition system using CodaMotion 3D Movement Analysis equipment and 4 imbedded force plates. Model development incorporated a distinct non-linear muscle model describing the physiological nature of the musculotendon stretch reflex, and the force-velocity and force-length relationships of muscle force generation. Assisted in writing grant proposals to NIH/NSF in support of our research. Contributing author in peer reviewed papers detailing research efforts. Poster presentation of research at the 2005 International Society of Biomechanics Conference in Cleveland, OH

Provided engineering support for entertainment CRT glass manufacturing. Main responsibilities included monitoring product stress for existing and new products through process controls of the annealing lehrs, and lehr related equipment improvement. Independently utilized SPC/DOE analysis to evaluate annealing processes to improve product strength. Assisted in research and modeling of stress generation within glass. Collaborated with outside contractors in developing an automated optical stress measurement system. Supported new item development involving specific supervision and or process control assistance during initial product runs. Project leader for reducing inside surface quality defects, through defect surveys and lab analyses to determine possible sources and to implement solutions. Developed furnace bowl well outlet heaters to improve glass flow consistency and quality. Supervised the rebuilding of five existing lehrs and assisted in the installation of a new lehr during two recent furnace rebuilds and expansions.

Engineering Internships, March through September each year. Worked in Systems Engineering preparing completed work packages for closure by ensuring proper testing and system walkdowns were completed. Assisted system engineers with managing several projects by confirming work crews, plant operations support, quality control inspections and testing. Performed periodic system walkdowns to verify the completion of specific tasks.Assigned to Design Engineering., independently evaluating the impact of system drawing corrections on the design basis of the plant, per NRC regulations. This involved system walkdowns to determine the scope and accuracy of the proposed change. Developed a document control system which allowed timely revision to the plant’s extensive piping class document, as opposed to the yearly revisions performed previously. This reduced the backlog of revisions on the design staff and ensured that the proper drawings were easily available to plant system engineers while developing plant work projects.Assigned to Plant Operations, performing procedure reviews with the operators to ensure that all procedures followed proper OSHA safety guidelines and met the requirements of the equipment in question. Evaluated whether completed or proposed equipment changes and repairs necessitated procedural and safety changes. Assisted in presenting completed evaluations before a senior operations review board for final evaluation before changes were incorporated.
