Multi-site leader for Frankfort, KY and Morgantown, NC

Formulates plans and directs those departments responsible for the planning, manufacture and shipment of product at the site level. Areas of accountability include safety, cost, productivity, customer service, ROA, and profit for all products distributed from that location (receiving, locating, picking, assembling, order processing, and quality assurance). Must exceed customer's requirements for quality, value for money and delivery and the company's requirement to improve profitability and growth.

Responsible for the facilitation of an efficient production operation. My primary responsibility is to ensure the team has the resources, skills, training, materials, and information to safely produce a quality part that meets customer specifications and schedules within cost specifications. My core responsibilities are to coordinate manpower, initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any defects relating to product, process, and quality system, and ensure compliance to policies and procedures. Additionally, I am responsible for training and developing supervisors, facilitating the performance evaluation process, coaching team members for increased performance, counseling and taking corrective action when necessary, providing and developing leadership, and leading plant wide task/project teams.

Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the operations of the production floor. Champion efforts to insure the safety of our employees and the quality of our products as well as improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the operations team by driving improvements through the use of Lean tools and strategies.

Managed several projects improving visual management, inventory control, reducing parts outages and managed the implementation of one new assembly line and managed the transfer of an exsiting product line from another Trane facility.

Directed operational activities of the Indoor Product Line, including Safety, budgeting, planning, staffing and quality while reaching production targets.

Provided leadership and daily direction to 35 union employees.
