I have an IBMS accredited degree in Honours Biomedical science (2:1) and just over 2.5 years experience working in both GMP manufacturing and also medical laboratories. Some of my skills include: lateral flow assay development/manufacture, RT-PCR, environmental monitoring, flow cytometry, blood typing, agglutination, microbial identification, cell culture, quality control testing, data analysis, QMS (change requests, CAPA etc), protein electrophoresis, tissue dissection and statistical analysis.I'm hard working, a team player, career driven, an excellent communicator and would bring invaluable medical/manufacturing lab experience and know how to any role.Currently working as a Biomedical Support Worker in the NHSPreviously worked as a QC/primary production scientist in the Primary Manufacturing department at omega diagnostics (lateral flow assay strip development/manufacture and quality control testing), during my time at Omega I also produced and tested specific allergen IgE conjugates (used in allergy testing products)Also prior to my time at Omega I worked as a technical support scientist for Quotient. Where I was involved in the anti sera product stability testing programme, in a GMP lab. I am currently looking for a role with greater career progression opportunities within the life sciences, medical devices development/manufacture, medical labs and microbiology sectors
