I am a Senior Assistant County Attorney with the Olmsted County Attorney's Office. I provide civil legal counsel for all departments of the County on a variety of different types of issues including real estate, condemnation, planning and zoning, property tax appeals, vital records, employment, contract, elections, public health, solid waste disposal, water quality, homeland security, medical examiner, data privacy, and parks.

I was previously a solo practitioner. I provided legal counsel to a variety of public and private sector clients in the areas of public law, real estate, planning and zoning, family law, criminal, civil litigation, estate planning and alternative dispute resolution.

I was previously employed at the Rochester City Attorney's Office as an Assistant City Attorney. I spent 2/3 of my time prosecuting misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor criminal cases for the City. I spent the other 1/3 of my time providing civil legal counsel for city departments including Public Works, Planning, Police, Fire and Human Resources.
