- Direct a team of 29 analysts onshore in Boston, Toronto, Montreal and Hong Kong and 13 analysts offshore in Manila, Philippines supporting derivatives trading across nine entities.- Work closely with the Front Office, Market Risk Management, Technology, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the integrity of data by validating that all transaction details are entered into the system of record, that data feeds into the accounting system are accurate and timely, that confirms are sent and reviewed pursuant to contract terms and that any errors in the trade lifecycle are identified, escalated and resolved. - Responsible for implementing and monitoring adherence to Dodd-Frank regulations for the entire organization.- Develop, onboard and manage relationships with custodians and clearing brokers to facilitate daily reconciliations and issue resolution.- Maintain a robust control environment and ensure strict compliance with policies, guidelines and limits.- Continuously evaluate, identify and recommend practices and controls that will increase process efficiency and/or the quality of the operations and mitigate financial and operational risks.

 - Managed a team of five analysts onshore and five analysts offshore in Delhi, India in the preparation and analysis of daily P/L for the Precious Metals, FX and Option businesses of North America. - Worked closely with traders, marketers, senior management and several support areas and sites to ensure that trading positions, risk and financial results were properly reported. - Responsible for month-end/year-end close and G/L reconciliation and balance sheet substantiation processes for businesses listed. - Liaised with Risk Management to ensure the appropriateness of rate sources, verification of prices and models and calculation of reserves. - Coordinated Product Control involvement in internal/external audits, compliance and SOX examinations.  - Supported organization’s efforts to offshore functions and travelled to India to assist in set up of Product Control office in Delhi. - Assisted in upgrade of single currency general ledger to multi-currency ledger.

 - Managed 18 analysts in the preparation and analysis of daily P/L for all or parts of four Investment Banking businesses: North American FX and Strategic Trading, North American Rates – Swaps, Global Commodities and Global Emerging Markets. - Worked closely with traders, marketers, senior line management, and several support areas to ensure integrity of financial results. - Partnered with Operational Risk Management to identify potential gaps in controls and then devise capabilities and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley directives. - Coordinated with various CFO’s and accounting hubs a rigorous closing process with numerous hand-offs and dependencies across the Globe to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial results.  - Lent assistance to Technology in the design, testing and implementation of enhancements to the existing technology infrastructure.

Researched and resolved discrepancies between front and back office records. - Performed monthly reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts and prepared necessary journal entries in accordance with FIN 39 and FASB 133 pronouncements. - Assisted in the timely preparation of quarterly regulatory reports including the Reports of Condition and Income and Country Exposure reports. - Member of Regulatory Task Force that realized $200 million reduction in balance sheet due to thorough review of Regulatory Reporting function. - Contributed to department's selection as pilot for Fleet's Sarbanes-Oxley initiative.
