    My current duties as Assistant Case Manager Coordinator and as acting capacity as the Case Management Coordinator include in assisting the institution administration. Maintained current knowledge of case management techniques and resources available in order to provide accurate assistance and information to staff in the direction of correctional programming policy. I have formulated institution supplements to ensure policy is properly implemented at the institution level in the area of case management. I provide technical assistance and serve as a resource for institution and administrative staff in case management and related programming areas. I participate in regular meetings with unit team support staff to present the position of the institution administration regarding Bureau of Prison policy and institution procedures. I have assisted with case manager training during the on-the-job training required at the time of their entry on duty in the position. I make recommendations regarding case management/career ladder promotions. I serve as liaison with the Parole Commission and Probation Service and the federal courts. I work as part of the institution administration to develop plans, policies, and procedures for institution management. Assist with the certification of staff in central inmate monitoring procedures and responsibility for the proper operation of the institution screening and locator center. Provide technical assistance and training with regard to community corrections centers as they relate to the institution and serve as the secondary contact person for community corrections managers. I monitor unit classification teams to ensure they are effectively and appropriately conducted, and that the policy is being followed. Monitor victim/witness and financial responsibility programs to ensure compliance with policy requirements. I have assisted in conducting management assessments at other facilities when requested by regional staff.
