My interest in design and function saw me start my career as a graphic designer, having completed a degree in Design Studies. As a graphic designer, I naturally became involved in a lot of web-based projects, the first major one being an online education platform for school kids. After this contract, I took up several more contracts working on the branding and development of medium-sized eCommerce companies and their websites. After several years of contracting under my company Context Creative, working on website development and branding projects I was keen to work with bigger companies. Primarily to become familiar with managing the hosting, development, and maintenance of websites. This encouraged me to take a full-time contract for a web agency as a developer.I am now co-director of Web Paste, a full-service digital agency. This allows me to use the skills I have gained from my years as a developer and my years as a graphic designer to help people develop and grow their companies in the space I know best.
