Designed and installed various range subsystem components, including telemetry and optics. Telemetry Processing System Architecture at Range Control Center. Mitigated significant operational issues on newly DD250’d automated telemetry data processing system in Range Control Center which could not meet ops requirements to provide sufficient telemetry downlink processing strings for the largest launch vehicles. I pitched significant system architecture changes to resolve the problem, while also enhancing internal connectivity to elevate operational effectiveness. I successfully integrated mods in a highly condensed timeline, providing solid resolution to a highly visible USAF range management impasse, and enabled system utilization. System successfully activated.Lead Engineer responsible for design & development of a new large semi-tractor trailer-based optical tracker system. Researched all requirements and authored new System Spec, sorting decades of obsolete requirements to transfer those still relevant to modern technology. Optimized telescope performance specs to specific missions. Originated vehicle design to accommodate stringent access constraints at Range fixed optical sites, data, power & comm interfaces, human factors, control console maintenance, comm and power interfaces, deployment characteristics, and transport issues. Vehicle successfully delivered.
