My name is Tom Cermak. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Thiel College and I am currently working to complete a Master of Professional Studies degree in Community and Economic Development from Penn State University. I am a Coastal Land Use & Economic Specialist for Pennsylvania Sea Grant in Erie, PA. For just over three years I have had the opportunity to work directly with our Coastal Land Use and Economic Specialist In my time with Pennsylvania Sea grant, I have had the opportunity to focus on coastal land use, social science, as well as the implementation of open space preservation, water quality and recreational improvement projects throughout the Lake Erie region of Northwest PA.
